TAG Mobile Free Phones: Devices You Actually Get

Last verified: 2026-08-30· by Arif

What TAG Mobile actually ships: iPhones, with a co-pay on newer models. Exact models rotate with stock, so every claim below carries the date we checked it.

The TAG Mobile plan, verified 2026-08-30: Unlimited minutes, Unlimited texts, Up to 16GB high-speed (varies by state). Source.

Bringing your own phone to TAG Mobile

Any unlocked phone that works on the multi-carrier, host not named bands will run on TAG Mobile. Dial *#06# for the IMEI and run it through the compatibility step of the application. A phone that is still locked to another carrier fails even when the bands match, and the checker usually cannot tell you that. If data works after activation but MMS or hotspot does not, the fix is the APN values from TAG Mobile's own support pages, then a restart.

iPhones: TAG Mobile ships them. The verified model list with co-pays and dates is on the TAG Mobile free iPhone page.

Device problems TAG Mobile customers hit
