What is the Access Wireless phone number?
There are two. Existing customers call 1-866-594-3644 or dial 611 from their Access Wireless phone. People who have not enrolled yet call 1-888-900-5899. Support runs Monday to Saturday 10am to 10pm Eastern and Sunday 10am to 7pm Eastern, so the line is open later than most Lifeline carriers.
Is Access Wireless a free government phone provider?
Yes. Access Wireless is the consumer brand of i-wireless LLC, an eligible telecommunications carrier in the federal Lifeline program, and it appears in USAC's official carrier list. The service itself is free to qualified households with no bills, contracts, activation fees or surcharges, in the carrier's own words.
How much data does Access Wireless give you?
They don't say, and that is worth knowing before you apply. The homepage advertises "FREE high-speed data, hotspot, talk & text" and their support page refers only to "a monthly allotment of airtime." We checked the homepage, the Lifeline page, the support page and the full sitemap on 2026-09-18 and found no published figure for minutes, texts or data. Ask on the phone before you enroll if the amount matters to you.

USAC's Lifeline carrier data lists Access Wireless in 37 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and West Virginia. The carrier's own site publishes no state list and only says offerings vary, so the ZIP check during enrollment is the real answer for your address.
Does Access Wireless give free iPhones?
No iPhone is offered or priced anywhere on their site. Their shop page is a compatibility checker rather than a catalogue, and the free handset is described only as varying by inventory. Can I use my own phone with Access Wireless?
