Easy Wireless Free Phones: Devices You Actually Get
Last verified: · by Arif
What Easy Wireless actually ships: a free Android smartphone, model set by inventory. Exact models rotate with stock, so every claim below carries the date we checked it.
The Easy Wireless plan, verified 2026-09-18: Varies sharply by state. Arkansas and Missouri: 350 minutes, unlimited text, 4.5GB. Kentucky and Oklahoma: 1,000 minutes, unlimited text, 25MB. Oklahoma Tribal: unlimited talk and text with 4.5GB to 6GB, 5G where the device and coverage allow. Source.
Bringing your own phone to Easy Wireless
Any unlocked phone that works on the GSM 4G LTE and 5G bands will run on Easy Wireless. Dial *#06# for the IMEI and run it through the compatibility step of the application. A phone that is still locked to another carrier fails even when the bands match, and the checker usually cannot tell you that. If data works after activation but MMS or hotspot does not, the fix is the APN values from Easy Wireless's own support pages, then a restart.
Does Easy Wireless give a free iPhone?
No. Easy Wireless does not ship iPhones under Lifeline, and you get a free Android smartphone instead. See our free government iPhone guide for the providers that do.
Fees and hidden costs

| Replacement phone | $25.00 | Applies only if you already had a replacement in the previous six months; otherwise a replacement is issued without this fee | 2026-09-18 |
| Non-Tribal smartphone | $25.00 | Listed at $25 on the plans page but as free on the FAQ and the Oklahoma page; confirm before you accept the device | 2026-09-18 |
Device problems Easy Wireless customers hit
- You were promised a free phone and then quoted $25
Cause: Their own pages disagree: the FAQ and Oklahoma page say the non-Tribal handset is free, the plans page prices it at $25
Fix: Ask which applies to your state and Tribal status before you accept anything, and get the answer in the enrollment confirmation. The Oklahoma page separately advertises the Maxwest Nitro A65 at $0 for new Lifeline customers against a $79 regular price.
Easy Wireless phone questions
Is Easy Wireless the same as easywireless.com?
No, and this trips people up. easywireless.com is a parked domain listed for sale by a domain broker. The carrier's real site is myeasywireless.com. Anything asking for your Social Security number or benefit documents on the shorter domain is not Easy Wireless.
How much data does Easy Wireless give you?
It depends on your state more than with almost any other carrier we track. Arkansas and Missouri: 350 minutes, unlimited text, 4.5GB. Kentucky and Oklahoma: 1,000 minutes, unlimited text, and 25MB of data. That 25MB figure is what their own FAQ publishes, and it is roughly enough for email and nothing else. Oklahoma Tribal customers do far better: unlimited talk and text with 4.5GB on the FAQ, or 6GB on the plans page. Their pages disagree, so confirm at enrollment.
Where are the Easy Wireless stores?
41 locations across 35 Oklahoma towns, including four in Tulsa and stores in Ada, Altus, Ardmore, Atoka, Bartlesville, Chickasha, Claremore, Duncan, Durant, Enid, Lawton, McAlester, Muskogee, Ponca City, Shawnee and Tahlequah, among others. If your documents are messy or you hit one of their device errors, walking in is faster than the phone queue.
Not published by Easy Wireless as of 2026-09-18, so not claimed here: an application status page; the host network. Confirm any of these on the phone before you rely on them.
